We went out last Saturday to start Spring cleanup around our yard when Yikes! The siding on the house was bulging around the dryer vent. There hadn't really been a pipe between the dryer hose and the vent. The air was just blowing into the wall. You can see the dark spots on the wall where I've taken off the siding. Mold. We spent the last week removing cracked moldy siding and rebuilding the wall's exterior, and yes, we bought a pipe for the dryer vent. We've got plywood up over the walls. Now waiting for it to stop snowing so we can put up siding.
