Rode the Train up to Salt Lake
Date with Victor to SLC
I got off work wearied at five. My friend hurried me to over to the train station. I barely missed it, but Victor had gotten off to wait with me for the next one. [Wasn't he nice to keep me company. I was relieved and happy to sit in the quiet sunlight and watch the birds and sunset, waiting and breathing hope for Spring.
We enjoyed the Front Runner together, as both of us could focus on each other instead of driving. When we got to Salt Lake, we hurried to the concert in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. The performance was my favorite type of music--reverent, heart-felt, fervent choral with piano accompaniment. It was so uplifting and refreshing for me to feel this live performance.
Because we wanted dinner to eat on the train and get home at a decent hour, we left the performance early. We found a shop in the food court that was closing. Because of limited variety, they gave us more quantity, and so they didn’t have to throw as much away. I remembered I left my bags in the Assembly Hall. Victor ran back to get them and I was supposed to meet him at the trolley station with our food.
The Holy Ghost led my feet through parts of Salt Lake I was only vaguely familiar with. I couldn’t call Victor and I had limited time. There was a creepy guy on one corner. God protected and truly led me by His Almighty hand. I got safely and timely back to Victor’s side with good extra food. :)

Blessings from Happy Choices
This last Monday and the Friday before, I made next to no calls to the Social Administration for my job, which meant I was behind on Tuesday. My supervisor up to that point was so impressed with my work that I had been keeping up with the daily calls (when previous to me helping, the task required two people calling), that she requested I get a raise. Tuesday morning I said a prayer at my desk and got to work. By the end of the day, after having shortened my lunch break and clocking out late with a headache, the good Lord helped me complete nearly three days worth of calls in one. -- Prayer Works.

Join the Scene in 2013.
The semester is off to a great start. I'm currently taking statistical programming 124, 125, and 224 [three crazy programming classes], human physiology, psychology, and Doctrine and Covenants. They had a photo booth at the new semester party last weekend, you can see the results above. Friday night we enjoyed a party at Janell's boss's house with a bunch of her coworkers. Earlier that day I had my brain scanned for a psychology project. They wouldn't tell me the results, but they did let me go home.
