Studying together, Elder Albright, Elder Meza, Elder Ahlstrom and I were discussing some of our challenges with how great a work we face with so few people. Not many missionaries are involved in teaching online yet and fewer help people on Mormon.org to come to Christ the way we do. There's certainly a lot more ways we can help people bring Christ's light into their lives than we already to, but that will take greater numbers.
As we were contemplating that difficulty, Elder Albright wrote "Matthew 9:37-38" (just the reference) up on the dry erase board, and challenged us to look it up. Elder Albright shared a great reminder that the Lord is aware of our specific difficulties. Christ addressed the same concern among his ancient disciples, that although there were only a handful of them, that they could pray for more help in the work. I wrote, in my fancy handwriting, Elder Albright's choice of scripture up on the board in full to remind us to pray for more help in our work and that the Lord is aware and listening.

I've also been thinking about the story of Gideon's army in the book of Judges in the Bible. God expected him to fight off the enemy Philistines with only a small army of 300 rather than using his full force. They were very successful, even though they would have expected before hand without faith that 300 isn't enough.
It's never enough with just ourselves! we HAVE to include the Lord in all our lives, let Him be our senior companion!
